If you decide to
overnight or spend some days enjoying the panorama of Dieng plateau, Wonosobo is the
perfect place to stay, where most tourism facilities are provided. As a plateau, Dieng has many kinds of volcanic activities.
See the bubbling mud with fumes eminating from vents in the earth, also the Telaga
Warna (Colored Lake) and Telaga Pengilon (Mirror Lake). Although the
activities are still running, both of the mountains - Sindoro and Sumbing - are sleeping
ones, and haven't bothered anyone for years.
One thing to remember..... Don't miss out on the 9th-century group of Hindu temples spread out over the plateau as a
mystery of the past.
